Robotic competition

Our objectives is make a robot that is able pick up a tennis ball and throw it in the bin. One of the ideas is catapult ,unfortunately, the catapult requires the strength to be able to toss the ball into the bin ,lego was not able to carry the ball. We try out our ideas one by one but none of it worked. At that time, we were desperate to find solution that can work. Luckily one of my teammates, thought of using a crane. We immediately put in into action. It worked, we added wheels so that it is able to pick up the ball and move to the bin and drop it in. This is more accurate than throwing the ball from a long distance. When we went to the competition venue, we were surprised by the special robots made by other school, specially the one that was able to carry many ball at once and drop it in the bin. Suprisingly, we were able to win the third place and we felt elated.
